Accessibility

What the interface is built to do, and what has actually been checked.

How it is built

  • Everything reachable by keyboardReal buttons and links, visible focus, a skip link to the main content, and dialogs that give focus back where they took it from.
  • Never colour aloneEvery state carries a label or an icon as well as a colour, so it survives low vision, colour blindness and a bright kitchen at bedtime.
  • Right-to-left is built inThe layout follows the reading direction rather than being mirrored afterwards, and directional icons turn with it.
  • Motion follows your systemIf your device asks for reduced motion, animation is removed rather than shortened. Nothing moves on its own or plays automatically.

Reading a story

The reading view uses a typeface chosen for long text, generous line spacing, and a low-light theme for the end of the day. Text size follows your browser settings rather than overriding them.

What has not been done

No independent accessibility audit has been carried out, and no conformance level is claimed. Saying otherwise would be a promise nobody has verified.

What has been checked is component-level: names, roles and labels, keyboard paths, focus handling, reduced motion, and rendering in both reading directions.
