Parent Companion
Reading for the adult in the house. Never a diagnosis, never a treatment, and never shown to a child.
What the Parent Companion is
Short pieces for you about the ordinary hard parts of raising a child — bedtime, separations, big feelings — written from sources that were approved before anything was written.
It notices what you told it and keeps that separate from anything it inferred. What you reported stays a report; what a system guessed stays a guess, and is labelled as one.
The limits, stated plainly
- It does not diagnose
- It does not prescribe
- Reported and inferred stay apart
- A child never sees it
When something is beyond a story
Some subjects are not ours to work with. When one comes up, ONUPA stops the automatic storytelling, tells you calmly and in adult language, and points toward the kind of help that is actually appropriate.
It does not interrogate a child, does not record a suspicion as a finding, and does not explain what triggered it — an explanation is only ever a map around the boundary.
