ONUPA

Terms

What ONUPA intends to hold itself to, while the legal wording is still being written.

The terms we intend

  • The account belongs to an adultYou confirm you are an adult when you register. A child never holds an account, a password or an identity here.
  • Your stories are yoursWhat you write about your family, and the stories made from it, belong to your family. You can export them and you can have them deleted.
  • Access is granted, not assumedCaregivers reach your family only through an invitation you sent, with a role you chose, and you can withdraw it.
  • Accounts can be suspendedAn account can be suspended after a safety decision. The detail of such a decision is not published, and an appeal goes to a person rather than to a form.

Not advice

Nothing ONUPA produces is medical, psychological, legal or educational advice, and none of it is a substitute for a professional who knows your child.

When this changes

A reviewed terms of service will replace this page before ONUPA is available to the public. Until then this is a statement of intent, not a contract.
